In the light of the rapid expansion of renewable energy macro-projects in the rural world, residents from all over Spain are organising themselves in movements to fight against the energy oligopoly and to warn of the environmental impact and the enormous damage that these wind and photovoltaic mega-farms mean for rural communities, their economy, their health and their way of life. With the aim of understanding the keys to this phenomenon and continuing to create networks of citizen collaboration in defence of the territory, the Cultural Observatory of the Universitat de València is organising this seminar, which will feature experts in different fields and activists for the protection of the environment belonging to various Valencian organisations.

Face-to-face seminar. Registration is required and cost-free in: https://www.uv.es/webinarslanau
