Tradition and avant-garde. Ancestry and modernity. Organic and digital touch. Poetry and song. Sandra Monfort's (Pedreguer, 1992) career has been forged on this string of dualities. Her profile is very versatile, but she is also an artist with a lot of talent. A woman who knows how to combine technique with intuition.
Her songs have a strange magnetism, a dreamlike quality that draws on ancestral folk, dreamy poetry, digital overtones and the breath of nature. A tremendously Mediterranean music, connected in some way to the folk of her villages, but also unmistakably rooted in her home, in the county of La Marina Alta, which has been such a great source of inspiration for her. Sandra Monfort puts sensitivity, delicacy and ingenuity at the service of one of the most unique and promising proposals in modern music.
