The Faculty of Law awards the talent and employment challenge developed with the firm Garrigues

The Office of the Vice-Principal for Lifelong Learning, Educational Transformation and Employment, through UVjob and in collaboration with Garrigues office, has pushed forwards a new edition of the programme “Talent and Employment Challenge”. The student who won, Alejandro Molinero Javier, will do paid internships in the tax and legal advisory services firm this summer.

The Faculty of Law this Tuesday, 8 April, has embrased the award ceremony of the new talent and Employment Challenge announced by the Universitat de València in collaboration with Garrigues firmAlejandro Molinero Javier, students of Double Degree in Business Management and Administration and Law, is the winner of this last edition, aimed at students of the Faculty, with the objective to find new talents and strengthen the capacities of the participants.

After solving a multidisciplinary practical case in the Law field (taxation, commercial, labour, procedural, etc.) the winner, Alejandro Molinero, has been awarded with the participation in the 'Summer Program' of Garrigues, during the months of June and July 2025, with a study grant scholarship from 800€ to 1.000 € per month.

The award ceremony counted on the presence of The Office of the Vice-Principal for Lifelong Learning, Educational Transformation and Employment, Ángeles Solanes, thedirector of the office of Valencia ofGarriguesJavier Calatayud; and the Dean of the Faculty, Clara Viana Ballester.

The Vice-Principal has thanked Garrigues its participation in this challenge “that gives opportunities to our students to know the professional reality with a practical case very interesting”. Moreover, Solanes has recalled that the Faculty of Law “is a faculty of national and international reference, very well situated in the international rankings each year”.

The process to overcome the challenge has included a formative period and an inaugural session where the case they should solve was presented. Once the programme ended, a formative workshop will be offered as a clousure, in which Garrigues experts will expose the solution of the proposal.

During the challenge itinerary, participants had the help of a team of specialised professionals, besides the personal og UVjob, who advised then in questions relate with their professional insertion. 

‘Talent and Employment’ is a programme moved by the The Office of the Vice-Principal for Lifelong Learning, Educational Transformation and Employment, through UVjob in collaboration with companies related with studies in the degree of the Universitat de València. The programme launched with Garrigues entails the third edition of this initiative, in which Caixa Popular y Broseta participated in the first two calls.
