The working group "Disabilities and Sexual Health" (subgroup of the European Sexual Medicine Network), coordinated by Mª Dolores Gil Llario, met on 25 October and brought together experts whose main professional purpose is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual functional diversity.
The purpose of this meeting was to encourage debate among representatives of national and international organisations linked to the personal and social development of people with intellectual functional diversity, in order to establish new ways of responding to the affective-sexual needs of this group. The participating organisations were: COPAVA, IVASS, PLENA INCLUSIÓN, PROTEDIS, ATADES, UNIZAR, UBUNTU, AVAPACE and SALUSEX.
