José Javier Navarro-Pérez -Jota-. PhD in Local Development and Territory with Extraordinary Doctorate Award from the University of Valencia. Diploma in Social Work and Degree in Criminology. Professor of the Department of Social Work and Social Services. PI of the GESinn Group. Lines of research: childhood at risk and lack of protection, child abuse and mistreatment, delinquency, emancipation and youth transitions, youth street groups -AJC- and Latin gangs, sexism and myths of romantic love among adolescents, youth suicide, social change and family socialization, etc.. He teaches in the Degrees of Social Work, Criminology and Social Education in the Official Masters of the University of Valencia in Social Welfare; Social and Cooperative Economy; Development Cooperation and in the Master in Intervention and Management of Juvenile Delinquency (University of Barcelona), Master of Minors at Risk (University of Granada) and in the Doctoral Program of Therapeutic Justice (University of Vigo). He also teaches specialized courses in the training plan for Teaching and Research Staff (teaching methodologies, conflict management in the classroom and research strategies with mixed methods). Author of more than 50 publications indexed in journals of scientific impact. Coordinator of several books, monographs and more than 70 national and international book chapters indexed in SPI. Co-author -together with Manuel Tarín, in 2006- of the book "Adolescentes en Riesgo; casos Prácticos y Estrategias de Intervención Socioeducativa Madrid, CCS", in 2015 together with M. Mestre, "El marco global de atención al menor" and in 2019 "Trabajo social con menores: el contexto de la infancia, adolescencia y juventud", Tirant lo Blanch.
He has directed competitive research projects with results of scientific transfer to society. La construcción de asociaciones a partir de agrupaciones juveniles de calle en España, Ecuador y El Salvador: evaluación y prospectiva (2000 - 2025)" of the Convocatoria Programa Estatal de I+D+i Orientada a los Retos de la Sociedad. Professor and Visiting Researcher at Münster (Germany), FUNLAM (Medellín), ESAN and UNSM (Lima) and the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). Biography | ||
Adrián García Mollá, Graduate in Psychology from the Universitat de València (2021), Master in Clinical Neuropsychology from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (2023). He is currently a beneficiary of the PRE2022-102085 predoctoral grant funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033, working in the ARMAQoL research group (Advanced Research Methods Applied to Quality of Life). Research topics focused on promoting quality of life in older people, with an emphasis on maintaining cognitive function in old age.
Research. Her main work has been developed in the field of cognitive aging within the project called Successful Aging in Europe: Trajectories and processes for acting on psychological, social and physical frailty (PID2021-124418OB-I00). On the other hand, she has carried out research work in the DAP360º project within the framework of the validation of scales for measuring maltreatment in childhood and adolescence. |

Biography | ||
Dr. José Vicente Riera is a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Valencia (UV). His research is mainly conducted at the Robotics Institute and Information and Communication Technologies (IRTIC) at UV. He earned his degree in Computer Engineering (2009) and Technical Engineering in Telecommunications, specializing in Telematics (2009), pursuing both degrees simultaneously. In 2011, after benefiting from various collaboration scholarships (Ministry and UV), he completed the Master's in Advanced Computing and Intelligent Systems (2011) and began his research career as a Research Training Fellow. He received his PhD in Information, Communications, and Computing Technologies from UV (2023). Affiliated with the ARTEC research group, his scientific interests revolve around computer graphics, virtual and augmented reality, simulation, and motion platforms. He has been a member of the research team in seven competitive projects (H2020, CENIT-CDTI, HE, or RETOS, among others), a collaborating researcher in 10 ERASMUS+ projects, and has extensive experience with 77 contracts under Article 83, demonstrating his professional focus on applied research and the transfer of his results to society. He has numerous publications in scientific journals, book chapters, and conference contributions. Additionally, he is the author of several patents and intellectual properties, some of which are being exploited. His contributions are centered on motion generation systems for simulators and the field of augmented reality. |
