Pilota has also been present in artistic, pictoric and sculture works. The most iconic example would be 'El joc de pilota' ('The game of pilota') by Josep Bru in 1891; and the sculture 'El saque' ('Serve') by Ignasi Pinazo in 1915. In the last decades, the transgressor film 'Trinquet trencat' ('Broken trinquet'), the scultures of Ferran Miolió, the constant and multi-technical activity of Marià de Sueca, the Costumbrismo of Jere and even the exhibition 'Joc' ('Game') by Vinz Feel Free and journalist Txema Rodríguez with its avant-garde aura far from folklorisation, with a lively dialogue between pilota and arts.

The event that meant a Copernican turn in the pilota conception was de paintings and sculters of the Manuel Boix exhibition 'El punt dins del movimient' ('The point within the movement') in 1992, where pilota made its way through the cart and central culture of València.
