A trinquet is an indoors game field that is rectangular with varying measurements depending on modalities. Generally used for Escala i Corda and Raspall, it is also used for Galotxa. They originated from tripots, which were pretty similar to the current French trinquets- A reference facility of Valencian pilota.

Its dimensios go from 8.5 to 11 meters wide, and 48 to 60 meters long. Its walls are white to highlight the black ball. The longer walls are named muralla and have vertical lines with numbers from zero to ten. The shorter walls are frontó and are around 4 or 6 meters high.

Above the frontons are the seats for the public. There are more seats above the right muralla.

Between the floor and the bottom part of the frontó, there is a tamborí, a slight 45 degree inclination for the ball to bounce. They are considered air (no score) in Escala i Corda, and in Rapal, a team can score if they hit it with the ball.

For Escala i Corda, a rope is placed 1.80 meters high in the middle of the trinquet to divide it. The ball must pass over the rope, which usually has a net to make it more visible. Touching the rope is foul.

Under the rope, there is a differently colored slab, marking the place the ball must bounce. Then, there is the dice, a 3 meters long square on a corner.
