The trinquets de frares or trinquets de pilota grossa are a bit different but keep the name trinquet since they are still used for pilota games.
The trinquet de frares is a closed space with three walls, a frontis and two bevels with joint corners and two lateral walls. The back wall is made of glass so the public can see.
The trinquet de pilota grossa is smaller and has two walls of 15 to 20 meters long and 3 to 5 meters wide. Its main difference with galotxeta is the existence of rebot and tamborí walls.
