Pilota as born on the strees and still keeps locations around the country. It is the principle of the game and a primordial manifestation of its social and cultural side. Raspall, galotxa and ratlles modalities (llargues, palma and perxa) can be played on the streets. The sole difference is the existence of two strings for galotxa and one for perxa.

Some of these natural habitat for modalities are the València street in Quart de Poblet, Dalt street in Murla and Plaça Major square in Sella.

Artificial Streets

There are several inconviniences in streets, like cars, glasses, and entrances; so artificial streets have been built. They imitate natural streets with balconies, doors, windows and portculli.

Many towns in the Horta region have them to practice street modalities.
