GIRHA is a group of innovation in all kinds of resources applied to teaching and documentation in History of Antiquity. Its field of action is developed particularly through the implementation, use and experimentation of new information and communication technologies (ICTs). 

GIRHA is configured, within the Area of Ancient History of the Department of History of Antiquity and Written Culture of the Universitat de València, as an innovation line in every kind of resources applied to teaching and documentation in Ancient History. Its action field is thus developed in the application, use and experimentation of new information and communication technologies (ICT).

Therefore its scope of action is projected in the adaptation of Ancient History teaching to the new demands that have resulted from the educative plans that include distance learning and the accommodation of teaching staff to educative reforms. Nevertheless, GIRHA, as every university group, maintains a research line that attempts to fill documentary needs attending a complementary way whose objective is to advance and delve in the knowledge of Ancient History, in which the study and revision of source and specific research works stand out.
