The Research Group on the Reception of Classical Literature (GIRLC) is organising an interdisciplinary meeting to discuss misogyny in literature as a reflection of the state of the question in each society. The meeting addresses the same issues as the previous editions since 2008. These include the methodological discussion of the reception of Greek and Latin literature in national literatures, as well as the attention given to authors, works and specific texts of particular relevance. The main goals are to showcase the Group’s research on the reception of Latin and Greek literature in medieval Catalan literature, and to promote an inclusive research process that integrates the expertise and contributions of experts from diverse fields.
