Description

The project involves collaboration between Hellenists and Latinists from both Spain and Greece. This collaboration aims to address the lack of attention given to the reception of Classical literature during the proposed period. The project will use a combination of literary, philological and linguistic methods to analyse the direct and indirect reception of classical literatures. The latter will be achieved through a bridge-language. The study focuses on both literary and non-literary texts. Non-literary texts are those that lack stylistic and rhetorical techniques and do not intend to disseminate information. The study also pays attention to the reception of Hispanic languages as a whole, including their interrelationships.
