Effects of histone deacetylation inhibition on post-infarct remodelling of arrhythmogenic substrate

Ischaemia/reperfusion damage promotes pro-arrhythmogenic ventricular remodelling. The effects of histone deacetylase (DHA) enzyme inhibition on this process and its impact on electrophysiological properties and arrhythmogenesis will be discussed.
