Equipment that performs analysis of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulphur and oxygen.
It performs analysis of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulphur and oxygen, improving the workflow as it can switch from one method to another thanks to a switch that allows it and minimises downtime when working in simultaneous mode (CHNS/O). The equipment is highly flexible and allows more than 20 configurations for different applications.
The analytical method is based on the complete and instantaneous oxidation of the sample by combustion with oxygen at a temperature of approximately 1020°C. The combustion products are transported by the carrier gas to a chromatographic column where the separation takes place. A thermal conductivity detector provides the signal for each element which is translated into percentage content.
