Type: Equipment
Equipment that allows the induction and maintenance of rodents under anaesthesia for the performance of surgical procedures. Anaesthesia should always be complemented with an adequate analgesic protocol.
The CA-EAC20 inhalation anaesthesia machine for rodents / small laboratory animals on a trolley enables research laboratories to be equipped with a state-of-the-art anaesthesia system. The system is flexible in its use due to its trolley mounting that gives it mobility within the laboratory and its different configurations and accessories that allow to have induction boxes and anaesthetic masks operating simultaneously.
The CA-EAC20 trolley-mounted inhalation anaesthesia machine eliminates the disadvantage of traditional open-circuit anaesthesia machines, which is that the researchers are breathing all the excess gases. To this end, Cibertec has designed a set of accessories that allow these excess gases to be channelled, by means of a suction system, to an absorption filter. These accessories also allow the anaesthetic gas to be saved to the maximum thanks to their Indirect Absorption System (IAS). The suction system has a circuit for the elimination of excess gases from the anaesthesia mask, the induction box and the breathing pump (optional when working with tracheal cannula).
