
The Office of the Vice-Principal for Teaching Transformation and Lifelong Learning, through the Lifelong Learning and Educational Innovation Service (SFPIE), presents a training plan aimed at teaching and research staff of the university consisting of a set of training actions aimed at providing training in active methodologies for teaching in English.
Training Plan in Active Methodologies for Teaching in English (PRIDA) 2022
The main objective of this plan is to train and improve the communicative and methodological skills in English of UV teaching staff.
In this context, the Office of the Vice-Principal for Teaching Transformation and Lifelong Learning, through the Lifelong Learning and Educational Innovation Service (SFPIE), presents a training plan aimed at teaching and research staff of the university consisting of a set of training activities aimed at providing training in active methodologies for teaching in English.
The training actions will be developed in two calls with two different registration deadlines.
The first call groups together the courses to be given between May and June 2022 and the registration period will be from April the 28th at 10.00 am until May the 4th 2022 at 2.00 pm.
The activities are the following:
- Teaching techniques to active learning
- Practical skills in English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI)
- Dialogic Literary Circles for BA and MA/MS Courses
- Academic communication in science: networking, posters, laboratory
- Debate as a tool in active learning process in Health Sciences
The second call offers the training actions to be held from October to December 2022 and the registration period will be from September the 13th at 10.00 am to September the 16th at 2.00 pm.
The courses are:
- Design of course materials and assessment in EMI
- Presentation of scientific research in English
- English for Academic Purposes
- Digital resources to boost teamwork in the classroom
- Digital resources to implement flipped teaching
- Experiential Workshop. How to manage emotions
