
This proposal is part of a holistic, progressive and engaged approach to education, along the lines advocated by bell hooks (2021) (lower case at the author's discretion). That is, an education focused on well-being, which implies that teachers '(...) actively engage in the process of self-actualisation that promotes their own well-being in order to teach in a way that empowers students' (p.37). The main aims of this proposal are to provide teachers with practical strategies for analysis and reflection, as well as for action, in order to create and build relationships within schools that are healthy and enriching for both students and teachers, and that at the same time allow the development of meaningful and emancipatory co-learning processes for both parties.
This training proposal is aimed at teachers of primary and secondary education (compulsory ESO, bachillerato and vocational training) who are interested in acquiring practical tools that will help them to improve coexistence in the classroom, promote the well-being of students and teachers and contribute to motivating them towards meaningful and emancipatory learning processes.
