Leading specialists from the field of sports law will meet at the conference with the aim of offering a comprehensive overview of their administrative, sporting, commercial and labor aspects. It will take place on Tuesday, March 31, from 9:00am to 2.30pm, in the Ignacio Albiol (5P12) lecture hall, in the department of Labor Law and Social Security of the Faculty of Law, and  it can also be followed via live streaming. 

The seminar is aimed especially at students and professionals in the fields of Law, Labor Relations, ADE (Business Administration and Management) and Economy at the Universitat de València, who will be able to expand and update their knowledge in a subject of growing relevance, both professionally and socially. 

The 4^th Seminar on Current Issues in Sports Law offers a comprehensive overview on the main legal challenges facing the sector, addressing issues ranging from accounting responsibility in the management of public funds and the centralized sale of audiovisual rights in professional leagues, up to the criminal and disciplinary liability or intermediaries in professional sports conflicts. Likewise, highly relevant labour and social issues will be analyzed, as well as equality and non-discrimination on the basis of gender in professional sport, unemployment benefits for athletes, the challenges arising from the new platforms and competition in job classification, the evolution of the eSports from its initial boom to its consolidation as a structured section.
