The Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations is the Department of the General Administration of the State in charge of proposing and implementing government policy in the following areas: public finances, budgets and expenditures, public companies, management of funding and cooperation systems with local and regional Administration, support to the delegations and sub-delegations of the Government, public task, public employment, training of public employees, reform and organization of the General Administration of the State, procedures and inspection of services, promotion of electronic Administration, evaluation of public policies and improvement of public management and quality of services.

The National Institute for Statistics is an autonomous organization of administrative nature, with legal personality and own budget, attached to the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness through the State Secretary of Economy and Business Support.
