The seminar will cover part of the research carried out by Carlos Ballester, a researcher who recently joined CIDE, during his time at Deakin University (Australia). The theme will focus on the use of techniques (proximal, remote and smart sensing) aimed at optimising nitrogen fertilisation and water management in gravity and pressure irrigation systems for crops such as rice, cotton and almonds.
