CIDE offers three youth employment contracts (FSE+) for technical staff

The Center for Research on Desertification (CIDE, CSIC-UV-GVA), a joint center of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the University of Valencia (UV), and the Valencian Regional Government (GVA), based in Moncada (Valencia), is participating in the youth employment selection process organized by the CSIC within the framework of the European Social Fund Plus Youth Employment Program (ESF+).

As part of this general call for applications by the CSIC, CIDE is offering three training contracts for the recruitment of technical staff to the center itself, aimed at young people under the age of 30 with a Higher Vocational Training qualification obtained in the last three years (or in the last five years in the case of people with disabilities).

Contracts offered at CIDE

Senior Technician in Networked Computer Systems Administration

Contract code: EMPJOV26_CIDE_B_3G_113

Duties:

  • Updating the CIDE website, integrating content provided by the CIDE Management and Communication Support Service.
  • Supporting the maintenance of the center's computer network and updating computer equipment.

Senior Technician in Analysis and Quality Control Laboratory // Senior Technician in Industrial Chemistry

Contract code: EMPJOV26_CIDE_B_M1_114

Duties:

  • Analytical support for CIDE's scientific and technical services in ecophysiology, soils, musts, and wines.
  • Performing basic chemical analyses on plant and soil samples from experimental plots and service requests.

Senior Technician in Forest and Natural Environment Management

Contract code: EMPJOV26_CIDE_B_M1_115

Duties:

  • Collaboration in field work campaigns organized by CIDE in natural and managed ecosystems.
  • Support in the processing and pre-treatment of collected samples in the laboratory.

Duration and funding

Contracts will have a duration of one year, with incorporation as established in the resolution of the general selection process announced by the CSIC.

The contracts are co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).

CIDE Communication
