CaFeCiCo 18/06/2026: Gianluigi Ottaviani: Introducing myself to CIDE

I started a month and a half ago working at CIDE and I would like to briefly introduce myself - beginning with my University studies
through work experiences in various countries up to present days. I will mention my main research interests (such as trait-based plant
ecology, biogeography, open ecosystems) as well as lines I am planning to pursuing and expanding over the next years - with a special focus on functional island biogeography of plants dealing with different types of insular systems.
