The body responsible for the admission of students is the Academic Committee of the doctoral programme, as provided inthe rules that regulate the Official Postgraduate Studies of the University of Valencia.
The students who achieve the general access requirements to the University of Valencia will be assessed by the Academic Committee of the doctoral programme in Advanced Hispanic Studies, according to the specified admission requirements of the programme and merits assessment criteria, in order to be accepted to our doctoral programme in their training period.
The Academic Committee will establish the criteria and rates required to established the order of preference of entry of students in case that the demand of vacancies is superior to the offer. The criteria will be related to the academic record, curriculum by justifying in a document, degree, etc.
The students who meet the detailed requirements will be admitted to the doctoral programme in their research period according to the following specified admission requirements and merits assessment criteria:
- 1. To possess the official degree of the official Master's Degree in Hispanic Studies: applications and research (new designation, in the academic year 2010-2011: Advanced Hispanic studies: applications and research) by the University of Valencia.
- 2. To be in possession of the DEA (Advanced Studies Diploma).
- 3. To have studied the 60 demanded as a requirement credits (art. 10.3. of the RD 56/2005) in the Master's Degree in Hispanic Studies offered in our Postgraduate Programme.
- 4. To be in possession of an official Master's degree similar to the one offered in our Postgraduate Programme.
- 5. To hold the condition of Research Grant Holder by any national or foreign research institution sufficiently accredited.
- 6. Assessment of the academic record, of the curriculum vitae and the motivation of the candidate.
- 7. To have passed the 60 credits of a similar Master's.
