The PhD program in Business Management of the Universitat de València (Estudi General) has its roots in the former PhD program in Business Management: Strategy and Organization, implemented by the Department of Business Management 'Juan José Renau Piqueras' in 1989 and which enjoyed the distinction of the Quality Mention since the 2006/2007 academic year until its extinction in the 2009/2010 academic year. The curent program started in the 2014/15 academic year.
