In the event that the number of preregistrations exceed the number of available places,
the following entry requirements will be applied:
The academic record of previous undergraduate degrees or postgraduate studies (60%). The average mark of previous degrees will be considered for establishing the list of admitted students, as well as the average mark of the modules related to the Master’s.
Assessment of a report with a presentation of goals, developed by the student (35%).
The goals report reveals the viability for developing and presenting the doctoral thesis.The following aspects are considered:
- To have as main goal the completion of the doctor qualification with international recognition.
- That the goals include knowledge and mastery of methodologies of research that fit into the current research projects. (cover letter and recommendation letter).
- If the goal of the thesis is to enter as intern in a current research project will be considered positively.
- If the goals to be achieved will be funded by grants or scholarships for researchers training.
- If the goals to be achieved are related with professional experience and candidate’s profile.
Other academic merits (5%).
- , language skills (preferably English language),
- scientific publication,
- participation in conferences and any type of academic
- experiences and/or professions related
- Proficiency of the languages used during the training period (Spanish language). The following documentation will be considered:
- Spanish proficiency certification (for non-Spanish speaking candidates).
- Intermediate or Higher level of Spanish language according to the standards of the Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE).
- If no certification is provided, a placement test will be made.
The committee may carry out interviews with the candidates for establishing the list of admitted students
The same criteria will be applied to all students, regardless, if their dedication is full or part time.
