- Knowing the forecasts of political parties and of the legislator that seek to strengthen the presence of women in the field of politics
- Comparing the different measures of parity basis adopted
- Analysing the effectiveness of them

Topic 2. Women in situation of double discrimination

Objectives:
- Analysing the concept of two-fold discrimination
- Comparing the difficulties and situation of any woman with those in which any other discriminatory element concurs
- Studying specific cases of two-fold discrimination

Topic 3. The right to impartial and independent justice

Objectives:
- The right of the person awaiting trial to have the cause decided by an impartial judge
- Elements that can affect the judge’s impartiality

- Judicial interpretation favourable to the exercise of fundamental rights

Objectives
- To analyse whether the constitutional reform affects the provisions of the Preliminary Title of the
Constitution
- Analysing whether the way used for the reform has been the adequate
- Analysing the constitutional reform process used and issues arising thereof

Topic 2. The social and democratic rule of law in the framework of the global economic crisis

Objectives
- Analysing what has meant, dogmatically and in our constitutional case-law, the concept of social and democratic rule of law
- Analysing whether, in the light of national and supranational actions of public powers, it can be still state that we live in a social and democratic rule of law.
- Analysing the constitutional issues arising from the possible violation of the categories underlying the social and democratic rule of law

Topic 3. The protection of social rights in the new Latin American constitutionalism

Objectives:
- Analysing the regulation on social rights in the new Latin American constitutionalism
- Analysing the existing jurisdictional guarantee mechanisms and their effectiveness
- Analysing the existing guarantee mechanisms in the legislative and governmental policies on that matter
