The Doctoral Thesis will consist of a work which includes research original results carried out in any field of knowledge. Doctoral students must be trained to develop an autonomous work in the scope of R&D&I. The University will establish, through the bodies responsible for the programmes, the necessary control procedures in order to guarantee the quality of the training, supervision and of the doctoral thesis. In this regard, the bodies responsible for the programmes will lay down the minimum quality requirements and impact of a thesis so that its defence can be authorised. These requirements can also be established by the Doctoral Studies School in where the programme is registered.
