The professor of the Department of Electronic Engineering, Enrique Dede, has been recognised in the SAAEI 2019

Enrique Dede García-Santamaría, professor of Electronic Engineering of the Higher Technical School of Engineering, was recognised in the Seminario Anual de Automática, Electrónica Industrial e Instrumentación (SAAEI) that took place on 3rd, 4th and 5th July 2019 in Córdoba

Because of his professional career and important contributions in the field of power and industrial electronics, Dede was recognised in the Capítulo Español de Electrónica de Potencia e Industrial of the Instituto de Ingenieros Eléctricos y Electrónicos (IEEE) and the Comité Permanente of the SAAEI.

The professor Dede has been the director of the Department of Electronic Engineering. He has more than 85 publications in national and international magazines and has been involved in more than 150 congresses. He has been invited to more than 25 Key Note Papers and has been involved in more than 70 R&D projects in public competitive calls. In addition, he has 10 national patents.

He was the promotor of the first contract University-Company signed by the Universitat de Valencia (ADEIT 1998) and more than 100 additional research University-Company contracts.

SAAEI is a yearly congress that is intended for national and international researchers and companies so that they can share the results of their research, exchange ideas and collaborate in R&D projects. The congress looks for speakers who describe original works in the fields of automation, electronics and instrumentation.
