The Higher Technical School of Engineering of the Universitat de València (ETSE-UV) has received 3 certificates of the international quality seals Eur-Ace® and Euro-Inf, that are present in all their degrees in an event this morning in the head office of the Instituto de la Ingeniería de España (IIE) in Madrid. The ceremony, which was encompassed in the “3rd Talk about International Quality Seals and its Development in Spain and Latin-American, has been organised by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA) and IIE.
Isabel Vázquez, Vice-principal of Studies and Linguistic Policy of the Universitat de València has collected the certificates representing the UV alongside Paula Marzal, director of ETSE-UV. Carmen Dasí, director of the UV Quality Unit; and Adela Mauri, Dean of the UV Faculty of Chemistry; were also present at the event. The latter collected the Seal Euro Bachelor, which has been given to the Degree in Chemistry.
The event highlighted the relevance of these recognitions in terms of improving the university system in Spain and internationally. The ceremony has also counted on the presence of the General Secretary of Universities, José Manuel Pingarrón, The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the General Council of Official Schools in Computing Engineering, the General Council of Official Schools in Computing Technical Engineering and the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry.
The degrees of Computing Engineering and Multimedia Engineering have the international quality seal Euro-Inf. The degrees in Chemical Engineering, Electronic Telecommunications Engineering and Electronic Industrial Engineering have the seal Eur-Ace ®. Previously, the Degree in Telematics Engineering had already obtained the seal Eur-Ace ®.
