The UV School of Engineering (ETSE-UV) is pleased to announce the +Dones 2024 Awards, which aim to recognise the best idea that enhances the visibility of women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields, provides role models for students, reduces female dropout rates and encourages the creation of support networks.

The +Dones 2024 Awards seek to reward short videos (maximum 60 seconds) addressing how society and education may facilitate the elimination of the gender gap in STEM, as well as how to achieve a balance between masculinised and feminised careers.

There are two award categories: one for STEM students and teachers, and one for the rest of the society, in order to compare perceptions of the situation of women in different academic contexts. In both cases, the protagonist will have to address the aforementioned topic.

Interested people may participate individually or as a team. However, each participant may only be part of a team and present one project
