The POWERCO-UV Chair announces the first edition of the UV Challenge Energy Environment – Càtedra POWERCO-UV Hackathon.

The POWERCO-UV Chair launches the first edition of the UV Challenge Energy Environment – Càtedra POWERCO-UV awards aimed at identifying the best innovative solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce the environmental footprint in industry.

The call is addressed to students enrolled at the UV in the final year of undergraduate degrees, master’s students, and doctoral students in the fields of Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. Students must register in teams of four.

All participating students will receive the corresponding accreditation.

The registration period for the CHALLENGE will begin the day after the publication of the call on the Official Notice Board of the Universitat de València and will close on February 15, 2026.

Due to capacity limitations, participation will be restricted to the first six registered teams, with the remaining teams placed on a waiting list. All admitted students who take part in the activity will be eligible for these awards.

Both the list of admitted students and the waiting list will be published on the notice board [https://tauler.uv.es] and on the website www.uv.es/catedres.

Applications (Annex II and III) must be submitted through the electronic office of the Universitat de València. Access is available via the link https://links.uv.es/xZ8ewuG using the Universitat de València username and password.
