The students of the subject ‘of 4th year in the Degree in Chemical Engineering, visited the facilities of the Fertiberia factory in port de Sagunt on last 8 November.
This plant produces nitric acid and ammonium nitrate from ammonia. Practically, the total ammonium nitrate produced is used as fertilizer.
They were accompanied by Professor Javier de la Torre.
