Enrique García, Mykola Harvat, Sergio Pérez, Juan Dús and Alberto Oteo graduates of the Master’s Degree in Data Science of the ETSE-UV have been invited to participate in the Galp Hydrocracker Datathon, along with four other European universities. They will be accompanied by the director of the Master’s Degree Emilio Soria, Full University Professor. This competition is promoted by Petrogal S.A.

The Galp Hydrocracker Datathon consists of a three-day event in which participants will work with analytical tools to find the solution to the existing problem. For this purpose, Galp will provide the statement of the challenge to be solved and the data necessary for its resolution at the beginning of the event.

The Datathon will be held from November 22 to 24 at the Sines refinery, in the district of Setúbal, Alentejo region in Portugal.
