  • CE1: B1 - Ability to solve a wide range of mathematical problems that may arise in engineering. Ability to apply the acquired knowledge about linear algebra, geometry, differential geometry, differential and integral calculus, differential equations and partial derivatives, numerical methods, numerical algorithms, statistics and optimisation.
  • CE2: B2 - Understanding and mastery of the basic concepts of the general laws of mechanics, thermodynamics, fields, waves and electromagnetism and of their application to solve engineering problems.
  • CE3: B3 - Basic knowledge of the use and programming of computers, operating systems, databases and software with engineering applications.
  • CE4: B4 - Ability to understand and apply the basics of general chemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry and their applications in engineering.
  • CE5: B5 - Ability for spatial vision and understanding of graphic representation techniques using both traditional methods of metric and descriptive geometry and computer-aided design applications.
  • CE6: B6 - Suitable understanding of the concept of company and of its institutional and legal framework. Business organisation and management.
  • CE7: R1 - Knowledge of applied thermodynamics and heat transfer. Basic principles and their application to solve engineering problems.
  • CE8: R2 - Understanding of the basics of fluid mechanics and their application to solving problems in the field of engineering. Design of piping, channels and fluid systems.
  • CE9: R3 - Knowledge of materials science, technology and chemistry fundamentals. Understand the relationship between microstructure, synthesis or processing and the properties of materials.
  • CE10: R4 - Knowledge and use of the fundamentals of circuit theory and electric machines.
  • CE11: R5 - Knowledge of the fundamentals of electronics.
  • CE12: R6 - Knowledge of the fundamentals of automatic mechanisms and control methods.
  • CE13: R7 - Knowledge of the principles of the theory of machines and mechanisms.
  • CE14: R8 - Knowledge and use of the fundamentals of the strength of materials.
  • CE15: R9 - Basic knowledge of the main production and manufacturing systems.
  • CE16: R10 - Basic and applied knowledge of environmental technologies and sustainability.
  • CE17: R11- Applied knowledge of business organisation.
  • CE18: R12 - Knowledge and ability to organise and manage projects. Understand the organisational structure and the functions of a project office.
  • CE19: TE1 - Knowledge of material and energy balances, biotechnology, matter transfer, separation operations, chemical reaction engineering, reactor design, and valorisation and transformation of raw materials and energy resources.
  • CE20: TE2 - Ability to analyse, design, undertake simulations and optimise processes and products.
  • CE21: TE3 - Ability to design and manage applied experimental procedures, especially for determining thermodynamic and transport properties, and modelling of phenomena and systems in the field of chemical engineering, systems with fluid flows, heat transfer, matter transfer operations, kinetics of chemical reactions and reactors.
  • CE22: TE4 - Ability to design, manage and operate simulation, control and instrumentation procedures for chemical processes.
  • CE23: FG1 - Ability to produce an original project in the field of chemical engineering to be completed individually and presented and defended before a university panel. The project must focus on professional practice and synthesise and integrate the skills previously acquired in the degree.
