Food&HelathLL rises with the aim of trying to give solutions to the eating and health problems of both UV users and external users.
Moreover, it offers alternatives for the development of new tools and methods of the field of health and gastronomy. This project serves as a proof of concept for new technologies, business models and marketing campaigns related to the improvement of the quality of life. The University acts as a “testbed” and it makes possible the sustainability of the project, since it has the aid of the private sector which offers collaboration and resources in exchange for user information and the benefit from the publicity (media resonance) produced by the project.

The experience is allowing us to obtain data and draw conclusions in order to facilitate the implantation of this model to bigger contexts (such as the metropolitan area of Valencia) as well as to replicate the experience in no-university areas that are good candidate for these health and food experiences.

In this regard, Living-Lab rises with the aim of being a working platform for the different research groups of the Universitat de València. These research groups develop activities in the fields of health and food, both from a technological perspective and social perspective.

Food&HealthLL wants now to configure itself as a university tool to access to transnational projects and collaborations with other urban agents for the project implementation in the field of health and food.
