ESTEPA (Studies of Landscape and Heritage) is a research unit of the Department of Geography of the University of Valencia, which was created in 1998 under the direction of Professor Jorge Hermosilla Pla. Its areas of research include the study of the Water Heritage, Local Development and analysis of Cultural Landscapes.
ESTEPA Research Unit develops basic research, applied research and technical assistance to institutions (regional, provincial and municipal administrations), free associations of municipalities, businesses and individuals.
