What to do in a pregnancy situation

1. The pregnant worker has to initiate the process by completing the Form for the adaptation of the job for pregnant or nursing workers available in the website Adaptation Form.

2.The Environmental, Health and Safety Services value the work station and inform the employee about the existing conditions in her job that could have a negative impact in her health and in the health of her progeny.

The following situations may occur:

That the job is adapted if the working conditions pose a risk to the pregnant worker.  In this case, the job is maintained with the adaptation of the working conditions.

If the adaptation of the job is not possible, the next step is the processing of the Suspension of the work contract due to occupational risk during pregnancy
