The psychological support for the UV staff who has been affected by the DANA is a free service of the Universitat de València. The applications will be processed by the UV Psychology Clinic of the Environmental, Health and Safety Services for the proper management of the appointment.
What is this service about?
The psychological support for the UV staff who has been affected by the DANA includes 2 assessment sessions which can be completed with 4 additional sessions of psychological support. These 6 sessions are subsidised by the Universitat de València and are free of charge for the UV staff affected by the DANA for as long as the Management Instruction UV 8/2024 is in effect.

The psychological support
The starting assessment can be completed with psychological assistance for the UV staff who has been affected by the DANA.
Afterwards, once the 6 subsidised sessions are over, if the professional providing the psychological service deems necessary to continue with more psychological support, they will recommend a referral. The UV Psychology Clinic will help you find options to continue with the support outside the free service provided by the UV.
In the case where the UV Psychology Clinic is chosen to continue, you’ll be assisted within its possibilities and according to the conditions of the Clinic itself.
Where will you be attended?
Counselling and guidance both online and in-person are offered. However, as of now, in-person assistance is available in the habilitated facilities of the Blasco Ibañez and Tarongers campuses.
