Monica Mura

Cagliari (Italy), 1979. Interdisciplinary artist and activist. Her work analyses the relationships between memories, gender and identities. She investigates the paradigms of power and social and political control, in the realms of the intimate, the private and the public. Her work has been shown at the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, ARCO Madrid, JUSTMAD, Sala Alcalá 31, Museo Vostell Malpartida, Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea (CGAC), Museo Centro Gaiàs, Bienal de Arte de Cerveira, Sala Dogana-Palazzo Ducale Genova, Fiber Art Sardegna and MIA Anywhere Collection (Dubai).
