Installation project providing reflection on the relationships between YouTube algorithms, the dissemination of information & misinformation and its impact on society.

Sara Gurrea

Valencia, 1995. Creator and student of the Universitat Politècnica de València’s PhD in Art: Production and Research. Her area of expertise addresses the use of text and typography in contemporary works, which she seeks to include in her own art production. Moreover, the artist explores new ways of communication in Internet and social networks with which she creates experimental publications based on the artist’s book file and exhibitive installations. She took part in various collective exhibitions on both national and international level. She recently exhibited her work in “PAM!PAM!20”, at the Reales Ataranzas de València and in William Morris, un creador por naturaleza, a travelling exhibition shown in different schools around the world. Likewise, she was selected in different local awards, such as the Fundació Xirivella Soriano’s IX Convocatoria Sala d’Arcs.
