‘La culpable. Los comentarios de cada día’, by Laura José

It’s a participative art intervention infiltrating and invading the campuses’ cafeterias to show judgements and confessions on our bodies. It turns a daily object, such as disposable tablecloths, into an artistic one that condemns a problematic as common and taboo as eating disorders.


Laura José

Alcora (Castelló), 1995. Artist, activist, mediator and feminist; trained in art, education and cultural management. Committed to the collaborative artistic process as a tool to develop critical thinking and more sustainable ways of doing. Her work addresses the body as political territory, the patriarchy aggressions towards the female identity crisis and research via anticapitalistic methodology arts. She exhibited her artwork in halls and galleries of Madrid (2021), Malaga (2019), Barcelona (2019), La Rioja (2018) and Valencia (2018). This year, she’s been promoting the mediation project A la fresca! at the Museu d’Arte Contemporani de Vilafamés (Castelló).
