
Site-specific intervention featuring the names of relevant LGTB scientists who made important contributions to STEM sciences (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). A constellation of representatives is therefore built, mentioning historical and current figures of reference.
Joaquín Artime
Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 1984. Fine arts graduate at the Universidad de la Laguna, with Extraordinary End-of-Career Award. Artime attended a Master’s Degree in Artistic Production, he was a FPI grant holder from 2017 to 2020 and he’s currently a doctoral student at the Universitat Politècnica de València. His research focuses on the creation of facilities and performances seeking to make LGTBIQ+ identities visible via the use of the word. His artworks were exhibited at the Atlantic Centre of Modern Art (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and Tenerife Arts Space (Santa Cruz de Tenerife). He also exhibited in galleries such as Espacio de Arte OTR (Madrid), BI-Box Art Space (Biela, Italy), Misterpink Contemporary Art Projects (Valencia) or THE BLINK PROJECT (Valencia).
