The call for the Chair of Intelligent and Sustainable Territories (DIVAL-UV) Awards 1st Edition is open. The call is open until 30 September for students from any official degree from any Valencian or Spanish university who wishes to participate with their Degree Final Project (TFG) or Master's Degree Final Project (TFM) with a topic related to citizen quality of life improvement, urban services or municipality sustainability.
The Chair of Intelligent and Sustainable Territories seeks to promote digital transformation in the rural environment to encourage development and implementation of technological solutions that help copetitivity and innovation of the corporate fabric of the territory. In that regard, the award is aimed for students of any degree from Spanish or Valencian universities that have presented their TFG or TFM related to developing technological and unnovative solutions in Valencian municipalities that contribute to: citizen quality of life, efficiency of urban services, improvement of economic competitivity in the area and guarantee and improvement of sustainability and environmental respect. The goal of the award is to enhance study on these topics in degree and master's degree studies in Valencian universities and dissemination. Any project from any field or discipline and presented in any Valencian Community university during the 2024-2025 academic year with a score of 8 or higher is considered valid to participate.
The winner will receive a 500 € prize, the second position will receive a 250 € prize and the two project below will receive a 125 € prize each. The project director of the winners will receive a certificate in reconition for their teaching labour.
