We welcome researcher Rita Inês Petrykowski Peixe to IUCIE for a one-year postdoctoral fellowship under the direction of Professor María Amparo Alonso Sanz.

She comes from Brazil, where she works at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina, IFSC - Itajaí Campus. With a degree in Art Education, the professor's goal during her stay in Spain is to develop studies related to the application of contextualization concepts in the field of artistic pedagogical practices of Spanish art teachers, as well as the use of other methodological processes, such as Ana Mae Barbosa's Triangular Approach. The proposal is justified based on previous dialogues between the mentor teacher and the researcher on the use of methodological approaches to artistic practices. Another important point will be the exchange of experiences between research groups, with participation in the ABERTURA Group, coordinated by the directing professor. She will also work on projects proposed by the research group, support activities developed by the faculty with whom she establishes a dialogue within the University of Valencia, and participate in national and international events that engage with Art Education.
