    • Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Psychology of Work, Organisations and Human Resources

  • Can I study a master’s degree course on a part-time basis?

Yes, the enrolment regulations of the UV allow students to enrol in a master’s degree on a part-time basis. Part-time students take only between 24 and 36 ECTS credits per year.

  • Do I have to have completed the studies corresponding to the Master's entrance qualification in order to pre-register for the Master's degree?

Only Graduated students can apply to Phase 1.

But, in Phase 2 pre-enrolment in the master's degree programme is open to those who are in one of these situations:

    1. Students who are in possession of an official university degree that gives access to Master's studies, or who are in the process of obtaining it, at the latest by the dates indicated in the calendar on the website https://ir.uv.es/ixsr0oz.
    2. Students of a Bachelor's Degree offered by a university of the European Higher Education Area who have a maximum of 9 ECTS credits left to pass the Final Degree Project.

In Extraordinary Phase pre-enrolment is open only for Spanish and foreign EU students in the previous situations

In any case, students in possession of a university degree will have priority in enrolment over students in case b). Therefore, students who have yet to complete the Final Degree Project and up to a maximum of 9 ECTS credits will only be able to access the master's degree if, once enrolment has been completed and the waiting list of students accessing with completed studies has been called up, there are still vacant places on the master's degree.

To know the specific admission criteria for each master’s degree, you can check the section “Access and Admission” on the master’s degree web page on the Student Services site.

  • Is there an offer of online official master’s degrees?

Pre-enrolment Procedure

  • Why do I have a mark of 5 in my application?

It can be due to different reasons:

    • You have not provided any Transcript of Records.
    • In the case of foreign students, either because you have not provided the apostille/legalisation of the Transcript of records, or because you have not provided the required Document for Grades Equivalence.

  • If I contacted the Master's Degree director and they issued an admission letter, does that mean I have already been admitted?

No. To be admitted to a UV Master's Degree, students must fulfil the general pre-enrolment process so that their documentation is checked by the Academic Coordinating Committee (CCA), they get a final evaluation mark, and places are ranked and allocated according to the given mark. A director's admission letter is not a valid document to access a Master's Degree.

  • If I have already made the payment the fee for the verification of equivalence of foreign qualifications at another university, do I have to pay it again?

No, if you have paid for the equivalence fee this year or previous years in the UV or in another university, and it has been approved, you don't have to pay again as long as the application is made from the same Degree. To avoid being required to pay, you must attach to the applicacion for the proof of payment of the fee and the Favourable Resolution of Equivalence indicating the foreign degree that was subject to verification.

  • Is it possible to modify the pre-enrolment application submitted or attach new documentation?

After submitting the application, the selected Master's Degrees can be modified until the last day of deadline using the application form link. After this date, no modifications will be allowed.

New documentation can also be attached for the evaluation as long as it is presented before the deadline. Check the deadlines for each phase in the pre-enrolment calendar.

  • Can I start a pre-enrolment process if I haven't finished my studies but I will finish this academic year?

Only Graduated students can apply to Phase 1.

But, in Phase 2 pre-enrolment in the master's degree programme is open to those who are in one of these situations:

    a. Students who are in possession of an official university degree that gives access to Master's studies, or who are in the process of obtaining it, at the latest by the dates indicated in the calendar on the website https://ir.uv.es/ixsr0oz.

  • Is the preference order marked in the process relevant regarding the selected Master's Degrees and specialties?

Places will be allocated according to the preferences indicated and the results of evaluation made by the the Academic Coordinating Committee (CCA). That allocation shall be binding. So enrolment changes won’t be accepted if they don’t follow the preference indicated in the application.

  • How many Master's Degrees can I select for the pre-enrolment process?

Each person can select up to three Master's Degrees, and up to three specialties within a Master's Degree, if it provides specialisation.Cada persona puede elegir hasta un máximo de tres opciones entre los diferentes másteres oficiales por orden de preferencia y, dentro de cada máster se pueden seleccionar hasta tres especialidades, en el supuesto de que el máster disponga de ellas.

  • What does the admission process to a master’s degree involve?

Each master’s degree has an Academic Coordinating Committee that runs the degree. As part of the admission process, after each of the phases in which pre-enrolment is organised, these committees meet and assess the candidates’ applications. As a result, the Student Services publish the list of candidates admitted, included on the waiting list and excluded. Additionally, each applicant is individually notified by email of the final result of the process.

  • What is the difference between pre-enrolment and enrolment?

Pre-enrolment is a process that takes place before enrolment during which applications for a course are assessed and the places available are allocated. Therefore, the final step in the pre-enrolment process is to notify candidates if they have been admitted, included on the waiting list or excluded.

Enrolment is therefore a process that follows pre-registration. Only students admitted in the corresponding pre-registration phase who, in addition, have accredited the completion of the studies that give access to the Master's degree can enrol in the established period (see the exact dates at: https://ir.uv.es/ixsr0oz). Once the enrolment period and the waiting list appeals have been completed, if places are still available, students who have been admitted and who have pending studies (TFG/Final Year Project and a maximum of 9 ECTS credits) may enrol.

  • Is there an application processing fee?

Yes, but only for holders of degrees issued outside the EHEA that have not been officially recognised in Spain. In these cases, the processing of the pre-enrolment application is subject to a fee of €155.22 for the verification of equivalence of the foreign qualification giving access to the master’s degree. The fee is payable by bank card at the time of submitting the online pre-enrolment application.

Documentation

  • I have studied abroad, but I do not have my degree certificate and transcript of records apostilled/legalised. Can I still submit my application?

No. When the degree does not belong to a country of the EU, it is mandatory to provide these documents with the legal validity given by the apostille/legalisation*. In these cases, the application will be excluded and, if a fee has been paid for the equivalence study, it will not be refunded.

The legalisation must be complete in order to be valid, i.e. it must be authenticated by the Ministry of Education of the country of origin, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of origin and, the most important, the Spanish Embassy/Consulate in the country of origin.

    More information:

    - Official Transcript of Records (marks), with legalisation or apostille on it, as well as a sworn/official translation if applicable (check the Requeriments for foreing graduates).

    - Document for grades equivalence: Document based out of 10 according to the process of the Ministry of Education/Universities.

Without these documents, students will receive a 5 out of 10 mark.

  • How can I certificate my average mark with pending studies?

Students with pending studies must provide a provisional academic certificate with the personal data and average mark out of 10 of all passed subjects.

  • How can I certificate the end of my studies to access the Master's Degree?

Additionally, each master’s degree may require other supporting documents according to the specific requirements that may have been established. Refer to the section “Documents to be submitted” for further information.

    More information:
    https://go.uv.es/4tGbUsM
  • In what cases must supporting documents be legalised or apostilled?

In case a university degree is issued by the university outside the European Union or any signatory countries to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or to the bilateral agreement with the European Union, you should add to the electronic application legalized or apostilled and translated, if necessary, supporting documents. To process the electronic application, the university requires the documents to be added in an electronic format to the pre-enrolment application.

  • When can I request an admission letter?

When the results of the pre-enrolment phase in which you participated have been notified and published, you will be able to download your admission letter through “My personal site” in the Online Office (ENTREU). This electronic document includes a digital signature and a secure verification code (CSV) through which its validity can be verified by any official body.

  • How can I request a pre-admission letter?

Pre-admission letters can be issued once the pre-enrolment period starts. From this date, those candidates who have completed the online pre-enrolment process can request a pre-admission letter via the new tiquetingUV application available at https://ir.uv.es/ZVf1Ar7. • How do Waiting lists work?

After the enrolment period and the recount of available places for each Master's Degree, the students on the waitlist will be contacted by preference order. This will be announced on the website: Places allocation results or the pre-enrolment app, as well as via email.

Phase 2 will have a second Waiting List Call and it will proceed with the exact same process as

Finally, if there were still vacancies, it will be offered via phone call, text message or email to the corresponding candidates on the waiting list who have accredited that they hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (for phase 2 and the extraordinary phases, because Phase 1 is open only for graduated students). If after this Waiting List Call there still remained available places, students with pending studies (TFG and up to 9 ECTS Credits) will be contacted strictly following the order of the list.

  • What are the payment options for the enrolment fees?

    • Direct debit in a Spanish Bank Account: payment can be made whole, in two parts or eight parts.

  • I am interested in a 90-credit Master's degree. Can I register for all of them and finish it in one year?

No, because the Universitat de València's Enrolment Regulations for Degree’s and Master's degrees set a maximum of 72 credits.

  • I have a recognised disability in my country, am I entitled to any exemption?

Any foreign person with legal residence in Spain and with a disability may request recognition of this condition from the competent authority, in accordance with the provisions of the agreements signed with their respective States and, failing this, in accordance with the principle of reciprocity. If the Spanish authority has issued the corresponding accreditation, they may opt for the applicable discounts indicated in the Enrolment section, always providing the corresponding documentary justification.

  • If we are a large family in my country, can I benefit from a reduction?

No, unless you obtain the recognition of the Large Family Title granted by a Spanish Public Administration. The only applicable reductions are those indicated in the Enrolment section, as long as they are accompanied by the corresponding documentary justification.

  • If I have won an extraordinary prize at another university, do I have any benefit?

No. The Extraordinary Award does not generate fee exemptions, even outside the UV. The only applicable bonuses are those indicated in the section on Enrolment, as long as they are accompanied by the corresponding documentary justification.

  • If I am admitted to a Master's, but I cannot register, can I save my place for next year?

No, students who do not register within the established period will lose the right to reserve their initial place, which will be offered in the waiting list appeals.

  • If I was admitted as a 'conditional', when and how do I enrol?

In phase 2 and the extraordinary phase, students with unfinished studies will be accepted as 'conditional'. They must provide an official degree certificate to prove the end of their studies within the stablished dates for each Phase, so they will be enabled for enrolment.

Once finished the enrolment period and the waiting list calls, if there remained places available, they will be offered via phone call, text message or email to the corresponding candidates on the waiting list who have accredited that they hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

After that, if there were still available places, “conditional” admitted students with unfinished studies (that is, TFG and up to 9 ECTS Credits), would be contacted strictly following the order of the list.

Candidates who have been admitted to a master’s degree and do not enrol within the period established will lose their right to the place initially allocated to them, which will be offered to applicants on the waiting list or made available in the next pre-enrolment phase, as appropriate.

If you have been admitted in pre-enrolment Extraordinary Phase and you do not enrol within the deadline set, you can ask the Student Services if there are any places available.

  • When does the course start?

  • Does the UV award grants to study master’s degree courses?

Yes. The University offers different grants to UV students. The grants are awarded by the Office of Vice-Principal of Studies and also by the Office of the Vice-Principal Sustainability, Cooperation and Healthy Life (AUIP scholarships)

  • What details will I have to provide to access the online enrolment portal?

To register online, students must log in with their UV credentials.
Other information required includes telephone number, email address, date of birth, and bank or credit card details.

  • What is the cost of a master’s degree course at the UV?

The UV is a public university so the price to take studies here is set yearly by the regional government. Each master’s degree webpage, published in the Student Services website, specifies the price per credit for that degree. The approximate price of a master’s degree can be calculated by multiplying the number of credits by the price per credit and adding 30€ for administrative fees.

In case of foreign students, please check the following FAQ regarding Higher Price.

  • Are enrolment fees higher for foreign students?

For non-resident students (except for students from member States of the European Union and those who can be under the community regime), the enrolment fees will be double the public price stablished for university academic services, but the corresponding price cannot exceed the whole cost of the academic service.

Master's Degrees with special interuniversity prices with Spanish universities and Master's Degrees with a special price that already doubles the cost of an ordinary Master's Degree.

You can check the Master's Degree fees for foreign students on the Master's Degree sheet, 'Summary', 'First enrolment credit fee for non-EU non-communicating students from abroad'.

  • Can I study more than one Master’s degree in the same year?

Yes. However, UV students may enrol in a maximum of 72 ECTS credits per year and must enrol in a minimum of 24 ECTS credits in each of the two master’s degrees. During pre-enrolment, the candidate can only be admitted to one master’s degree. So as new students, they can only enrol in one master's degree.

  • When do the fees or costs of a master’s degree have to be payed?

Enrolment fees are payable in September or October, depending on the date of enrolment. The university allows payment in eight monthly instalments. Payment can also be made by credit card (in full or in instalments), so a Spanish bank account is not required.

  • Can you study a Master’s Degree part-time ?

Yes, the Universitat de València enrollment regulations allow you to study a part-time Master’s Degree. In these cases, students only study between 24 and 36 ECTS per year
