The Universitat de València (UV), throught its univeritary extension activities, hosted on Friday 21 November 2025, a highly productive Business Conference, designed to offer the participants practical tools for creation and consolidation of new businesses.
The event was attended by Pedro García Belenguer, Chief Commercial Officer at RNB (Yegane Business Unit), who shared is vast experience in the sector and traced the critical success factors for every entrepreneurial project.
Six Keys for a Solid Start-up
During his conference, García Belenguer highlighted that a successful start-up goes beyond innovation, requiring rigorous planning and strategic execution. He underlined six key elements that should guide the roadmap of any new business:
Definition of the Value Proposition: clearly identifying the unique benefit offered by the project and how it differentiates itself from the competition.
Deep Understanding of the Customer: the need to validate the business idea with exhaustive comprehension of the target market and its requirements.
Appropriate funding: determining the necessary capital structure and ensuring funding sources that support long-term growth.
Break-even Point Calculation: establishing the necessary amount of sales to cover total costs, a key indicator of financial sustainability.
Search of Strategic Partners: building a founding team with complementary skills that strengthen the weak points of the project.
Definition of KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators): introducing objective metrics that enable continuous tracking, informed decision-making and quick course correction.

The conference, within the frame of the commitment of the Universitat de València to link academic training with business reality, was a success.
