On 23 November 2023, MBA students participated in a virtual visit to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) is the EU agency responsible for the management of EU trade marks and designs, European and international cooperation in the field of intellectual property, as well as the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights.
The virtual tour provided an overview of the EUIPO and its various departments and practices, as well as an introduction to the Pan-European Seal Programme (PES) and other academic initiatives.
The PES is a comprehensive internship programme that links academia and the labour market in different fields (intellectual property, law, finance, business, engineering, etc.) with the objective of promoting and disseminating intellectual property among the academic community. The Universitat de València is one of the over 140 universities across Europe that participate in the PES.
