Marta Gil Lacruz made a reflection on how specific life styles pose a risk to human health, being necessary to address the life style analysis with a multidisciplinary focus. The importance of this detailed analysis of customer behaviours lies in the already high mortality rate derived from the life style.

She also remarked that life style has a social background and risk behaviours must be evaluated considering the element of cultural relativity. Thus, life style involves an enormous social responsability that impacts on the development of preventive campaigns. The preventive approach is intended for health behaviour.
