The Official Master’s Degree in Drug Addictions: Research, treatment and Associated Pathology (DITPA), also called University Master’s Degree in Research, Treatment and Associated Pathology in Drug Addictions is taught at the Faculty of Psychology of the UV. The Master’s aims to train professionals with specialised scientific knowledge who are able to understand, interpret and analyse the addictive behaviour in drug addiction as well as to develop assessment and intervention skills. It intends to train professionals of psychology (and other degrees), so they acquire the contents, abilities and skills to be applied in their specific fields of intervention, the knowledge and skills that improve life quality and psychological and social well-being of people who suffer this disease of chronicle and recurrent nature.

The Master’s Degree offers 20 places and is compose of 120 credits to be developed in two academic years and is linked to the Doctoral Programme in Research in Psychology. Different departments and faculties of our university and professors of other universities, as well as professionals in the field of drug addiction participate in the Master’s.

- The motivation to carry out the master's degree is considered, awarding 5 points for the first option; 2 points second option; 0.5 third option
- The minimum score for access to the master's degree is 10 points (maximum that can be obtained 15 points).
