The Scientific Evidence in Addictions Conference plays a fundamental role in addressing addictions, as it provides effective methods based on objective data. Therefore, using approaches supported by rigorous research allows for significant improvement in therapeutic outcomes and relapse prevention. In addition, evidence helps to combat myths and prejudices that still persist around people who suffer from addictions.

Objective: To spread awareness of the importance of applying practices and procedures whose effectiveness has been duly verified following the scientific method.
